We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and keen to be part of a collaborative team. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards before they reach our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis & Feedback:
  • Review and analyze system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Provide proactive and meaningful feedback to enhance product quality and user experience.
• Test Plan & Case Development:
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities efficiently.
• Automation & Scripting:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using open-source tools to increase test coverage and efficiency.
  • Perform code reviews and provide suggestions for improvement to the testing team.
• Bug Management & Debugging:
  • Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly.
  • Coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues and perform thorough regression testing post-resolution.
• Process Improvement & Standards:
  • Develop and implement QA processes for new and existing products to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track and analyze quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to measure and improve quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to understand product functionality and features.
• Continuous Learning & Development:
  • Stay current with emerging QA tools, techniques, and strategies to continually improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality within the organization.
• Performance & Security Testing:
  • Conduct performance and security testing as required and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience & Expertise:
  • Proven work experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in a senior role within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficiency in using automated testing tools and developing automation scripts.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools is a plus.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of enthusiasm and commitment to quality.
