Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the backend systems that power the Classcard platform.

This role focuses on core business logic, APIs, data integrity, and system performance in a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You’ll work closely with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ship reliable, scalable features used daily by academies and institutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean architecture, performance optimization, and building systems that scale in production.

What You’ll Do

Backend Development & Core Systems

• Build and maintain backend services using Laravel, with supporting Node.js services where required
• Implement core business workflows including onboarding, scheduling, attendance, invoicing, payments, and reporting
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs with clear contracts, validation, authentication, and authorization
• Ensure strong data integrity and tenant isolation across a multi-tenant SaaS architecture
